Systems Engineer
Genesis10 is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a permanent position with our client out of Brookfield, WI. This position is a 3 on 2 off hybrid in Brookfield, WI at their HQ. Under the guidance of the Senior IS Operations Manager, the Systems Engineer ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. This position is also responsible for end-user support of these technologies and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in a hybrid cloud/on-prem environment, and manage virtualization platforms including VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV.
- Administer Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD), including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity synchronization.
- Manage Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and rapid recovery capabilities.
- Provide Tier 3 support for escalated incidents and service requests from the Service Desk.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and conduct capacity planning across all infrastructure layers.
- Ensure compliance with security policies through patch management and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application deployments and infrastructure projects, maintain documentation for systems architecture and procedures, and participate in on-call rotation.
