Software Engineer

Job Duties:

Design, implement, and maintain machine-learning platforms for image annotation and processing, utilizing image processing techniques to prepare data for production, and ensuring efficient data pipelines for manufacturing. Configure, test, and maintain Linux operating systems and application software to support production data processing and machine learning model execution. Design and deploy containerized applications (e.g., Docker) and serverless architectures to automate deployment, ensuring high availability and scalability for production systems. Develop and maintain efficient RESTful APIs for seamless communication between internal production systems and external platforms, performing functional testing, version control, and integration into the manufacturing pipeline. Write technical specifications and system design documents, converting business requirements into technical solutions, and supporting development of internal tools, production interfaces, and front-end applications. Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams to discuss technical solutions, enhance platform security, and ensure the robustness and reliability of deployed applications.

Education Required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems or Data Science.

Experience Required: 6 months experience on job offered. In lieu of the required experience, applicants with any suitable combination of education, training or experience are acceptable, including 3 hrs. coursework or comparable coursework in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Programming for Data Science, and Information System Security, inclusive in the degree requirement as qualifying.
