Senior Project Engineer - Remote Eligible

This position reports to: Senior Engineering Manager

In this role, you will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with medium complexity. You will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

The work model for this role is: Remote

This role is contributing to the Electrification division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading and supporting commissioning of data centers, paralleling switchgear (PSG), and power automation systems.
• Being a support function for Field service engineer during project commissioning.
• Configuring, testing, and troubleshooting PLC/HMI, Relays and other control systems.
• Conducting & supporting site acceptance tests (SAT), factory witness tests (FWT), and FAT support with customers to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 7-10+ years of experience in field service engineering, with a focus on datacenter power systems, paralleling switchgear, and automation/PLC systems. Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, protection & control, and critical power applications. Proven hands-on experience with commissioning and troubleshooting PLC/HMI, Relays, and control systems. Familiarity with UL standards (UL1558, UL508A) and power system testing practices.
