Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part-time RN to join our highly committed and dynamic Emergency Services team as we provide excellent quality care to over 68,000 patients of all ages annually. What you'll do: As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team of providers, RNs, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, health unit coordinators, and social workers. Emergency services, a level II ACS-verified trauma center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten urgent care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated behavioral health rooms that serve every patient population from infancy to the elderly. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a stroke center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a chest pain center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities. Emergency services, a 2023 emergency nurses association lantern award recipient, is recognized and acknowledged for excellence throughout the department through metrics and patient experience that is difficult to find anywhere else in the nation.
What's available: Part-time, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 fte). Will orientate fulltime 12-hour night shifts from 7p-7a, every third weekend and holiday rotation Starting pay of $38.01 per hour and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials
What you'll need: A minimum of an associate's degree in nursing An active wisconsin or multi-state rn license upon start Current infant-adult basic life support for health care providers Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and adults Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment Prior acute rn experience preferred
