What you will do:
- Provide technical expertise for product quality, material performance, and process issues
- Conduct product and process performance evaluations to identify improvement opportunities
- Participate in the development and implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) initiatives
- Lead or assist with variability-reduction and process-optimization projects
- Perform quality audits, capability studies, and site surveys
- Analyze inspection and production data to promote continuous improvement
- Develop and deliver training on quality tools, procedures, and standards
- Enter, maintain, and verify data in AS-400, JDE, and related internal systems
- Develop and route Can Standard Change Requests (CSCRs)
- Maintain manufacturing standards, including A-Section procedures, PCPs, Double Seam Guides, and more
- Prepare and distribute manufacturing and lithography standards
- Maintain quality records, customer complaint documentation, and department files
- Train employees on documentation requirements and Silgan standards systems
- Apply all safety procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment
- Support engineering, operations, and plant teams with quality-related projects
- Contribute to cross-functional problem solving and data-driven decision making
- Perform additional duties as necessary to ensure quality and manufacturing excellence
What you need to have:
High school diploma required; Associate\'s or Bachelor\'s degree preferred
1-3 years of quality, manufacturing, or production experience
Proficiency with AS-400, JDE, and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of SPC methods and basic statistics
