Respite Support Caregiver Opportunity
Respite Support Community Horizons is assisting a local family in finding a caring, energetic, and engaged respite caregiver to support a young woman in your community. This is more than a caregiving role; it's an opportunity to build connection, share laughter, and create memorable experiences. Your time and presence will make a lasting difference through active engagement, genuine companionship, and shared activities that bring joy and confidence. If you're someone who enjoys staying active, being social, and making each moment meaningful, we'd love to hear from you! This position is part of a self-direction program, which means you'll work directly for the family not through an agency. This offers flexibility, one-on-one connection, and the chance to make a personal impact. If you have a few hours to spare and a big heart for helping others, we'd love to hear from you!
Pay: $16.66 per hour
Schedule: One evening per week, 2-3 hours per shift. Tues or Thurs 5:30pm - 8:30pm is ideal.

- Engage in one-on-one interactions that promote connection and fun
- Encourage social, emotional, and recreational engagement
- Support activities that build confidence and joy
What You'll Need:
- A kind heart and a reliable nature
- Experience in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- A good communicator who enjoys helping others thrive through active interaction
- Comfortable initiating conversation and activities
- Excited to bring energy, patience, and creativity to every visit
- Willingness to complete a background check
