Mid-Level Network Engineer

Role Summary: We are seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to support day-to-day operations while full-time staff focus on critical projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and solid experience in network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incident response and service requests
  • Perform system maintenance including patches and upgrades
  • Support small-scale projects (e.g., LP, routing cleanups)
  • Configure, test, and document network equipment
  • Assist with firewall settings, access permissions, and data provisioning
  • Participate in network upgrades and integration testing
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting
  • Maintain documentation for procedures and network topology
  • Follow IT policies and compliance standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in network administration/engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, LAN/WAN, routing/switching, firewalls, and telephony
  • Experience with network troubleshooting, maintenance, and service request handling
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively

Technical Environment:

  • FMC, FTD, ISE, IOS-XE, DNAC
  • Wireless technologies: RADIUS, LWAPP, Cisco ACS
  • Wireless security/encryption: 802.11i, WPA/WPA2, 802.1x
  • Firewalls, routers, switches

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
