Why You Will Love This Job: Lead the KPS Mosel Manufacturing Engineering group to develop and continuously improve processes that safely produce quality products while reducing cost. Execute the Operations capital plan and projects. Facilitate the transfer of best practices to KPS operations. Create and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement. Provide Manufacturing Engineering associates with opportunities for professional development. Specific Responsibilities: Provide leadership and guidance to perform the following responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineering group. Responsible for Line Balancing and cycle time optimization. Including training and implementation of new products on existing production lines. Utilize lean practices to drive process improvements. Manages product queries and production line manufacturability day to day issues. Assure capital expenditures are included in the capital plan. Share and support the implementation of best practices at KPS operations globally. Manage capital projects that are beyond the resource capacity of the Manufacturing cells. Support the creation and execution of individual development plans for manufacturing engineering associates. Provide challenging opportunities for growth. Maintain an atmosphere that encourages engagement and retention. Requirements: BS Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited university. Ten years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Management or Continuous Improvement is recommended. Three years experience in a complex assembly environment, in a Manufacturing Engineering role is recommended. Two years experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager is recommended. Must have considerable manufacturing process experience with emphasis on lean manufacturing techniques, product costing and cost reductions. The salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$149,500.00. The specific salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate\'s experience, their education, and the work location.
