Mechanical Engineer

The role involves designing fixtures and molds using SolidWorks, contributing to innovative solutions within the engineering field.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop fixtures and molds using SolidWorks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct machining processes and oversee machine shop operations.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks with 3+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing fixtures and molds.
• Knowledge of machining and foundry operations preferred.
• Experience implementing automation solutions, including Fanuc robot integration and designing end defectors preferred.

Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily a machine shop and foundry. It can become warm during the summer months, requiring comfort with such conditions. The setting can be dirty, so attire should be practical rather than pristine.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $40.86 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
