Partner with Manufacturing and Engineering to define, control, and document in-process and final product characteristics that ensure customer requirements are met. Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for processes, materials, and products in a precision manufacturing environment. Create inspection, testing, and sampling plans, including procedures, forms, and instructions for collecting and analyzing quality data. Lead product disposition activities, including nonconforming material review, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Train and mentor employees on quality systems, inspection methods, and compliance requirements. Support and participate in audits, including NADCAP, CASE, FAA, customer, supplier, and internal audits, and help lead timely and effective responses. Manage customer deviation requests (RMRAs, concessions, etc.) and ensure proper documentation and tracking. Facilitate internal, external, and supplier corrective actions, ensuring root causes are identified and eliminated. Ensure inspection equipment integrity, including calibration procedures, proper use, and care of measurement systems. Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to validate inspection accuracy and precision, making data-driven decisions and verifying effectiveness. Manage APQP and PPAP requirements for assigned products and customers. Collaborate cross-functionally, providing guidance on quality issues and participating in engineering, production, and management meetings as needed.
