Manufacturing Engineer

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will revise and optimize CNC programs for mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines. Your role involves translating engineering drawings and 3D models into precise machining instructions, while maintaining a library of programs with proper documentation of setups and tooling instructions. You will also support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing cycle time and minimizing scrap.

Responsibilities:

• Revise and optimize CNC programs for various machines including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
• Translate engineering drawings and 3D models into accurate machining instructions.
• Maintain a comprehensive library of CNC programs with detailed documentation.
• Provide support for continuous improvement initiatives aimed at cycle time reduction and minimizing scrap.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in manufacturing engineering.
• Expertise in CNC programming.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer programming CNCs.
• At least 2 years of experience working with G Codes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related field.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Berlin, WI.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
