As a Human Resources Coordinator in our Madison office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

Why we need you: In this role, you will partner offices in the Midwest region to help maintain best practices and a consistent approach to HR tasks and processes. With coordination of the HR team, you will help ensure AEI complies with applicable federal, state, and local laws. You will help maintain strong relationships with AEI staff to support their career objectives and provide an ongoing pathway for employee engagement by:

  • Working with local office support staff to maintain the data in the HRIS system ensuring accuracy.
  • Conducting onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintaining personnel files in conjunction with local office leadership and admin support staff.
  • Staying abreast of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and technology in all aspects of human resources.
  • Helping with filing required annual reporting.
  • Providing support for all projects assigned.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Being self-directed using tact and diplomacy in a clear, courteous, and professional manner.
