Primary responsibilities include:

  • Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other company-sponsored benefits.
  • Assisting with benefits enrollment, eligibility, and coverage questions.
  • Coordinating the enrollment, administration, and tracking of FMLA, COBRA, Health & Dental Insurance, 403(b) Retirement Savings, Flexible Spending, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with up-to-date Federal & State regulations.
  • Conducting benefits orientation sessions for new hires and providing ongoing education about benefits options.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and legislative changes affecting employee benefits.
  • Maintaining HR Information Systems.
  • Generating reports, tracking employee FTE statuses, and ensuring accurate payroll deductions for benefit participation.
  • Facilitating Agency Wellness program.
  • Planning annual holiday party and other employee events.
  • Championing company values, organizing engagement initiatives, and serving as a liaison between employees and leadership to ensure a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Employee Advocacy & Communication: Gather feedback and suggest initiatives to improve employee satisfaction. Culture & Engagement: Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives Onboarding & Retention: Help integrate new employees into the company culture. Identify and address areas affecting employee retention.
