Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Provide outstanding service by responding promptly to guest inquiries, offering product and service information, and resolving complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ensure smooth operations by accurately and efficiently processing transactions, maintaining cash and media at the Service Counter, and managing tasks like cashier tills distribution and additional services such as DMV, Lottery, and ticket sales.
- Support guest needs by helping with refunds, exchanges, and offers while recording details of inquiries, comments, and actions.
- Ensure quality standards are met by maintaining quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm.
- Handle money by distributing cashier tills and partnering with cashiers throughout the day to meet associate and guest needs.
- Honor commitments by maintaining regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule.
- Collaborate with the team by performing other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Festival Foods Guest Services Clerk, you should have:
- Availability: Minimum availability of 16 hours per week with a minimum of 8 hours per day during available days.
- Customer Focus: A genuine interest in helping and engaging with guests with strong interpersonal and guest service skills.
- Attention to Detail: The ability to process information accurately through the register system and a good sense of prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with both guests and associates.
- Technical Skills: Operate all necessary equipment and excel in an environment with a wide range of goods and services.
- Teamwork: Strong communication and collaboration skills with an interest in supporting the team's success.

- Ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop, and kneel regularly.
- Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Work Schedule
The Guest Services Clerk is a position with part-time or full-time opportunities. The schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on your availability.
