Floor Care Specialist

Aspirus Medford Hospital in Medford, WI is seeking a floor care specialist to join our environmental services-hospital team! The floor care specialist is responsible for all floor maintenance and provides a clean and bacteriologically safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Must be able to follow all applicable policies, procedures, schedules, disinfection, and safety requirements.

Hours: Supplemental or.4 FTE, 32 hours every pay period. Day/pm rotation (7am-3:30pm/ 3pm-11:30pm)

Experience/qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is beneficial.
• Previous experience in an environmental services department beneficial.
• Preferred knowledge of cleaning materials.
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating numerous pieces of floor care equipment such as high-speed buffer, automatic scrubbing machine, carpet extractor, and wet vacs.
• Possesses the ability to perform minor equipment repairs and preventative maintenance on floor care equipment.
• Possesses ability to perform routine manual cleaning tasks for an extended period.
