The Opportunity: Procter & Gamble is looking for an Engineering Project Manager to become part of our Facial Tissue Manufacturing team in Green Bay, WI. In this position, you will provide technical leadership to facilitate the execution of initiatives at the Green Bay Plant. As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving and implementing the master plan for Family Care, while also serving as the point of contact with Central Engineering for feasibility studies and requests.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Master planning for a site to ensure manufacturing, packing, and facilities meet long term plant objectives.
  • Owns the funding process for projects including writing the package, feasibility, design review with vendors, understanding equipment from process, mechanical, and electrical standpoint.
  • Develops and reapplies creative solutions via previous experiences and benchmarking from within the site.
  • Scopes new equipment based on business needs. Upgrading existing equipment and involved in purchasing/installing new units.
  • Welcomes change and looks for opportunities to improve our processes. Supporting the site as it embarking on an unprecedented change in operations and manufacturing strategy to deliver on initiatives.
  • Executes projects and use of the standard PM/IM work processes throughout the phases of the projects.
  • Develops relationships across Family Care business both in the various businesses and across the multiple levels of leadership at the Green Bay plant.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a passion for developing the manufacturing processes for tomorrow.
  • Is detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated to work with diverse business scenarios, prioritizing multiple priorities and have a business and consultancy mind-set, while technically savvy.
  • Can produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to listen, capture requirements and translate those into solutions.

Job Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or relevant related field
  • 3+ years of demonstrated technical engineering in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on budget and on schedule.
  • Ability to provide feedback to vendors on design changes needed to meet the plants deliverable.
  • Must be able to work onsite at Green Bay, WI plant 5 days per week

Pay Range: $85,000 - $115,000 Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of equal opportunity factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skills, and level of experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
