Engineer Position

System One is currently seeking an engineer on a 12 month contract position located in Eau Claire, WI. The engineer will support hydro plant projects due to internal reorganization. They will work approximately 10 projects per year across 25 hydro facilities, primarily in WI and one in MN. Responsibilities include developing bid/design specifications, coordinating projects from initiation through closeout, working with hydro plant management and contractors, and traveling to hydro sites seasonally for construction and design/closeout activities.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical controls, or civil/structural) from an ABET accredited university, a valid driver’s license, proficiency in Microsoft Office, FE/EIT certification preferred, PE license is a plus, PMP certification or project management background preferred, SAP and scheduling tools experience preferred, minimum of 2 years engineering experience, hydro or industrial experience strongly preferred, and hydro familiarity (6+ months) is a plus.
