Position Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Compliance Engineer to lead and support product compliance efforts across our engineering and manufacturing operations. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to key safety and performance standards, including UL 60335-2-40, UL 2755, and UL 62368-1, with a strong emphasis on data center/IT equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Compliance & Certification: Interpret and apply UL standards, particularly: UL 60335-2-40: Safety requirements for electrical heat pumps, air-conditioners, and dehumidifiers, including leak detection, airflow control, and ignition source mitigation UL 2755: Compliance for modular data centers, covering electrical distribution, cooling systems, structural integrity, and life safety UL 62368-1: Hazard-based safety requirements for audio/video and ICT equipment, including liquid-cooled systems and battery safety UL 508A: Standards for Safety - Industrial Control Panels Lead product safety reviews and coordinate with third-party testing labs for UL certification. Maintain documentation and records for compliance audits and inspections.
• Design & Development Support: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design. Review technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs for regulatory alignment.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate compliance with applicable standards. Analyze test results and recommend design modifications as needed. Support failure analysis and corrective actions related to compliance issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, quality, and other departments to ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
