Business Services Portfolio Manager

This position reports to SVP, Business Services Credit Officer. The Business Services Portfolio Manager is responsible for assisting lenders with the management of their portfolios. This position will work with portfolio members with the Loan Officer acting as primary contact. This position will focus on and be the subject matter expert for the C&I team. The Business Services Portfolio Manager completes underwriting requests for portfolio members, including annual reviews, and renewals but does not have loan approval authority. Additionally, Business Services Portfolio Manager will assist in other underwriting assignments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor\'s Degree in business or related field and a minimum of six years of direct experience in business/commercial credit analysis. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Previous portfolio management experience is preferred but not necessary.
  • Must have strong financial and credit analysis skills as well as a detailed understanding of business credit documentation and business collateral documents.
  • Must have experience or be able to gain proficiency in all programs and systems used for this job including systems related to deposit and loan products.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational skills and the ability to work independently as a valuable team member in a dynamic environment.
  • Must have the ability to use independent judgment and discretion in various situations while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
