Automation Engineer Position

Automation Engineer sought in Mount Pleasant, WI. Focus on non-standard automation mechanism design, including the custom design and maintenance of specialized robots capable of working on bending, punching, and assembly machines. Optimize work allotment schedules and be responsible for the distribution of work contracts to outside suppliers and contractors. Inspect outsourced automation mechanical and software processes, and evaluate work pieces for quality, stability, and durability. Lead project team in evaluating the automation requirements proposed by customers. Communicate with other departments to confirm specifications and scheduling for production automation projects. Use 3D Drawing software for mechanical designs and electronic control systems. Responsible for the purchasing and importation of automation equipment to replace manual work. Find relevant suppliers to complete automation and robotics projects.

Education Required: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or its Academic Equivalence

Experience Required: 2 yrs experience
