This position reports to: Automation Manager

The Automation Engineer supports the development and implementation of industrial automation systems, contributing to the design, programming, and integration of control technologies across manufacturing operations. This role offers hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and database connectivity, while also providing exposure to advanced technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence in smart manufacturing environments.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Process Design Team in New Berlin, WI. You will report to the Smart Process Design Manager. You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Assisting senior engineers in PLC programming and SCADA system design
  • Supporting control system & robot integration and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate on data acquisition and database connectivity
  • Participate in Industry 4.0 initiatives including IoT and smart analytics

Our team dynamics: You will join a high performing automation as part of a larger Smart Process Design Team.

Qualifications for the role:

  • You are immersed in modern manufacturing and automation processes
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience with 2+ years in Automation and Manufacturing
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of automation, robotics, and industry 4.0 initiatives
  • You are passionate about driving change through innovation and collaboration
  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in the field of Automation, Robotics, or Manufacturing
  • You are at ease communicating and working in a team environment
  • You are an American citizen or currently hold a US VISA / work permit
