Architect/engineering Project Manager

Job Requirements

This is a technical engineering/architectural position which manages, directs, and leads the activities of architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers in the delivery of construction projects. The primary responsibilities of this position include managing complex infrastructure and facilities projects from design through construction, the review and analysis of designs prepared by outside consultants, providing technical support to state agencies, providing site inspections, and troubleshooting analysis, developing, and maintaining design guidelines and specifications, and developing design and bidding documents.

Other Experience and Qualifications: Minimally qualified applicants must have at least one of the following:

• Registration as a professional engineer and/or architect as determined by the Department of Safety and Professional Services
• Have graduated from a recognized college or university with a degree in an engineering field such as civil, electrical, electronic, environmental, mechanical, or structural engineering

Qualified applicants will have education, training, and/or experience in:

• Project management (e.g. management of budget, scope, and schedule of projects, or similar)
• Architecture and/or engineering design review and analysis (e.g. evaluation of system design, or similar)
• Providing technical assistance and troubleshooting facility issues.
