Why You Will Love This Job:

• Provide oversight and operation of the Mosel E-Coat system to minimize equipment downtime.
• This will include system startup, process monitoring, system shutdown, and tank cleaning.
• This shift will be from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM, but overtime before/after shift or on weekends may be required depending on system run times and vacations.
• In addition, this position will be responsible for monitoring, cleaning and operation of the waste treatment system on 3rd shift.
• Lastly, this position will be responsible to perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Paint - Metal Processing; to assist in day-to-day production demands in metal processing and paint.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Serve as liaison between the manufacturing floor and Metal Processing Center (MPC) regarding daily operation and condition of e-coat process, reverse osmosis water operation, waste treatment condition and any ideas for improvement.
• Report any mechanical or operational problems to the Maintenance Department and MPC, write work orders as needed.
• Assist in resolving Maintenance related process problems which will require the proficient operation of that equipment.
• Perform all duties as assigned by supervision.
• Practice and follow all required safety regulations.
• Associate should have good spatial reasoning skills and high mechanical aptitude to make deductions and inferences regarding processes or operations that may require improvement.

Requirements:

• Possess a mechanical aptitude.
• Must have great attention to detail and patience.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Experience in paint / powder coat / ecoat is a bonus.

The salary range for this position is $26.50 to $33.50 hourly. The specific salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
