Position Summary:

The Guest Services Locker Attendant serves as the first guest point of contact for the resort's day and seasonal locker service. In conjunction with the Guest Services Manager, this individual will be responsible for the organization and effective operation of both day and seasonal locker programs. This individual will be the point person with the automated system utilized for day lockers, able to answer questions regarding those units, escalate issues to manager and vendor, and convey/demonstrate instructions on usage to guests. This individual will assist the Guest Services Manager as a guest service contact for the seasonal locker program, monitoring a shared locker inbox, assisting in keeping locker records updated, and troubleshooting issues that may arise. As a guest services employee, this individual will be tasked with being a knowledgeable point of contact for other services and offering the resort offers for guests outside of locker products, assisting in other guest related interactions as needed.

Wage:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resort's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resort's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Hourly pay: $19.00/hr

Essential Duties:

General Responsibilities

  • Staff designated locker service desk as guest point of contact for lockers
  • Perform daily AM locker reset procedure for day locker units to ensure they are available to be rented by guests
  • Perform light maintenance on locker/kiosks, including changing out receipt paper and/or restarting kiosks should issues arise
  • Monitor the shared locker email inbox, and respond to guest inquiries promptly with accurate and concise information.
  • Assist guests with usage of locker rental kiosks and troubleshoot issues that may occur with day locker units
  • Collect and log items abandoned in lockers and bring to resort's security team
  • Assist with record maintenance for seasonal locker program, including recording sales transactions, maintenance of waitlists, and updating guest contact information
  • Inform supervisor of locker service issues or replacement part needs
  • Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the office area
  • Assist other guest services teams with guest related tasks, including being knowledgeable and answering guest questions pertaining to other offerings and services provided by the ski area
  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude while dealing effectively with guests and co-workers.
  • Report and/or correct unsafe conditions regarding equipment, work area and ski area in general.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and guest services skills required.
  • Demonstrated keyboard and software program proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level with Microsoft Office systems required.
  • Diplomatic attitude in dealing with others, especially in stressful situations requiring conflict resolution.
  • Ability to speak effectively to both individuals and groups.
  • Able to perform well under pressure.
  • Able to multi-task

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
