Job Summary:

Windsor Salt's Evaporation Facility in Windsor, Ontario, has an opening for an engineering co-op student for the summer 2026 term. The successful applicant will provide technical support to the engineering and management teams at Windsor Salt.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor project assignments
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications
• Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans) and report regularly on project status
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Assist project engineers in matters relating to the selection of new equipment, material substitution, and prescheduled alterations or repairs as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Safety-conscious team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

In addition, this individual will:

• Be registered in an accredited University Engineering Co-op Program
• Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD is an asset
• A G/G2 Driver's License is mandatory for this position

The expected compensation for this position is $22/hour. This posting is for a temporary contract position (May through August 2026). Windsor Salt does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
