Project Manager, Creative

West Elm is looking for a Project Manager, Creative. You will be responsible for planning and tracking, digital and print production, and resource oversight for projects within the Creative department. This role serves as a central point between the Creative team and other departments within the organization to ensure that projects are completed successfully. The ideal candidate for this role is a strong communicator and problem solver with an ability to motivate and rally project teams.

You will:

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects from kick-off to completion, including the creation of project schedules, tracking and ensuring all deliverables are met and regularly communicating status with all team members
  • Proactively identify and discuss solutions for potential blockers or production risks.
  • Organize and understand project requirements that may at times be ambiguous.
  • Facilitate meetings with collaborators, circulate actionable notes, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Support in the establishment and rollout of new processes and procedures that will contribute better team communication and project documentation.
  • Manage projects in a constantly evolving environment, flag risk factors as they arise and execute on solutions.
  • Create strong relationships and build trust with cross-functional teams
  • Provide purpose, direction and motivation to team.
  • Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team. Encourage the development of team mentality and a creative, innovative and masterful work culture.
  • Leverage best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects. Actively share knowledge and learning from project experiences.

You will also:

  • Attend and lead briefings and design presentations with stakeholders, performing as an information source.
  • Create briefs in the appropriate system and completes write ups prior to entering jobs into the studio.
  • Develop and manage timelines on all projects, tracking/reporting on time delivery or alterations of the timeline to the key stakeholders.
  • Manage workflows while following up on all jobs that are out for approval to process approvals in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain project status reports.
  • Hold weekly status meetings with print teams working on site, email, social, catalog, store collateral and signage.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from an accredited college or university

The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
