Reporting to the Manager of Scheduling Services, this role provides input and support to users on the functional and technical internal control of the staff scheduling system. This position is also responsible for analysis and reporting as required by the scheduling services department. The systems administrator is responsible for maintaining and updating the system setup; updating system configuration for policy and procedure changes; investigating and correcting errors from the HR information system; participating in system upgrades in collaboration with IT analyst; training frontline and administrative end users; and facilitating resolution of issues sent via the scheduling system internal customer system support email. In addition to this, the Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools; assisting in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs; ensure the accuracy and quality of system information as used by management and internal administrator, including monitoring and analyzing scheduling information flow through manual and automated processes; interface with the IT department as the liaison to resolve low- to mid-level systems issues; develop systems procedures incorporating scheduling services business processes; and participate in systems-related projects from a scheduling services standpoint; continuous improvement projects for the department; ensure the scheduling system is updated with all HR policies, standards and procedures.
