The District Sales Manager is responsible for carrying out all sales and marketing activities in the geographical territory to maintain, develop, and grow the overall sales volume in that territory in a manner that maximizes profitability.
Proven experience in agricultural sales, preferably with fertilizer or crop protection products
Strong knowledge of local crops and market practices
Familiarity with fertilizer storage, application equipment, and product logistics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
You demonstrate leadership qualities
You're able to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without formal authority
You're skilled at managing multiple projects
You have strong organizational skills and project planning
You have excellent communication skills
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $91,200 - $127,750. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
