This position is based in Algiers, Algeria Country Office (CO), with support to Tindouf field operation, and reports to the MSD & Finance Officer.
The purpose of the assignment is to lead and strengthen IT service delivery, ensuring reliable and secure technology support that underpins WFP's humanitarian operations in Algeria and enables effective programme implementation in a complex and remote setting.
Education: Completion of secondary school education is required. Additional post-secondary degree in a relevant functional area (e.g., Computer Science/IT Engineering degree or master's degree) is considered an asset.
Experience: Seven (7) years relevant work experience.
Desired experiences for entry into the role:
Language: Fluency (level C) in oral and written communication in French and Arabic is required, with an intermediate (level B) working knowledge of English.
