To provide specialized support functions and/or supervise staff performing standard logistics/supply chain processes and activities to enable effective delivery of goods and services for all delivery modalities.
Key accountabilities include providing specialized support to supply chain operations, coordinating requisitioning, supporting management of supply chain vendors, identifying and resolving technical queries, preparing and monitoring budgets, monitoring supply chain inventory, supporting oversight for commodity accounting, analyzing operational pipeline, managing documentation processing, performing research and data analysis, liaising with stakeholders, supervising support staff, and supporting logistics emergency preparedness and response activities.
Qualifications and experience include completion of secondary school education, a first university degree in relevant fields, six or more years of logistics operations experience in refugee camps, experience maintaining corporate systems, administering third party service providers' contracts, compiling contract documentation, contract execution, budget monitoring and reporting, and fluency in English and Swahili languages.
