As a Team Lead B2B Account Management, you will play a key role in the development of our B2B sales strategy in the DACH region. You will be responsible for both the growth and development of your own customer segment as well as the professional and disciplinary leadership of a team of 3–4 account managers (junior to mid-level). You will drive the performance of your team data-based through clear KPIs, actively coaching, promoting, and developing your employees. In close collaboration with company-wide stakeholders and the management, you will shape the future direction of our B2B business. This position is indefinite, and the workplace is Munich.
What You'll Do
- Strategic and operational responsibility for your own B2B target customer segment (e.g., project developers, office fitters, or interior designers)
- Leadership, development, and coaching of a high-performing team of 3–4 account managers with a focus on goal achievement, motivation, and development
- Definition, control, and monitoring of KPIs for performance management of your team and for goal tracking on an individual and team level
- Building efficient sales structures, clear processes, and best practices for new customer acquisition, customer retention, and upselling
- Supporting your team in finding solutions in complex customer situations and in the handling of strategic projects
- Close cooperation with the management, the head of B2B, and other executives to further scale the B2B business
- Establishing a customer and data-oriented mindset in the team as well as ensuring excellent customer satisfaction
- Creating relevant reports and presentations for the senior leadership and executive team
You Come With
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B account management or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role – ideally in the furniture, home & living, or lifestyle industries
- Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments and to steer them in a goal-oriented manner through KPIs
- Strong leadership skills, empathy, and clear expectation management towards your team
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self-responsibility, and a pragmatic hands-on mentality
- Experience in developing and optimizing sales processes as well as in the use of CRM and analysis tools
- Very strong communication skills – both in the team and towards stakeholders at C-level
- Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing (other languages are an advantage)
