We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering organization. This role is part of a team that owns the front door experience of a major consumer financial platform. You will work on innovative projects aimed at driving member engagement and delivering personalized financial insights. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. Design and develop front-end features for registration, onboarding, login, and account recovery with a security-aware approach. Build and refine user interfaces for credit score viewing and monitoring to drive member engagement. Collaborate with product and design to deliver consumer-facing features that support growth funnels and reduce friction. Contribute to new projects such as personalized action plans and GenAI-powered in-app search for financial questions. Develop and enhance testing tools to improve quality and reliability. Operate autonomously within a large engineering organization and communicate effectively in Slack-centric workflows.
Senior-level front-end or full-stack experience delivering consumer-facing web features. Proficiency with TypeScript and GraphQL. React experience is nice to have. Full-stack capability with JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with Scala, Java, or PHP is acceptable. Background building secure authentication flows including login, registration, onboarding, and account recovery. Experience collaborating with product and design to optimize user journeys and engagement funnels. Proven ability to work independently, communicate in Slack, and contribute within large teams. Exposure to fraud-aware systems or growth funnels is preferred.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
