This position will oversee the work of a staff of supervisors, engineers and program managers responsible for overseeing the maintenance programs associated with FirstEnergy's transmission line assets to comply with and in adherence to, all applicable federal, state and local regulatory requirements. This entails working with all FirstEnergy Utilities (FEU) Operations personnel & providing technical support and subject matter equipment expertise of maintenance practices and methods, emergency response, construction methods, utility industry standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
