The Role

Intern must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) during the 10-week program. Program Dates: May 29 – August 7, 2026. Location: This position is fully remote/work from home in the continental US. Work Authorization: US Work Authorization required for this role. Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment to the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

As an intern in our IT Asset Management team, you will help provide a complete and consistent asset inventory for operations and data-driven decisions within our CMS/Asset Management application.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Automation Scripting: Assist in developing and testing scripts to automate routine IT tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Database Support: Help maintain and update internal databases, including writing SQL queries, performing data entry, and supporting data backup and recovery procedures.
  • Troubleshooting: Support the team in debugging code and resolving technical issues in scripts or software as they arise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and team members on IT projects, contributing to various scripting and database tasks.
  • Documentation: Document scripts, configurations, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and consistent operations.

What We Look For in a Candidate

Required qualifications:

  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship.
  • Graduating August 2026 – May 2027
  • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proficiency and understanding of:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and working knowledge of SQL-based databases.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug code and solve technical problems efficiently.
  • Teamwork: Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with IT team members.
  • Learning Aptitude: Demonstrated eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience (through coursework or projects) writing scripts and working with databases (for example, developing Python scripts or executing SQL queries on data sets).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management and collaboration is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Linux) and networking fundamentals is an advantage.

Compensation: Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range: Min: $31/hour Max: $46/hour
