Engineer Test Level 3

Job Title

Verifies test designs, helps develop test plans, and implements testing methods and equipment. Partially assists in test planning, helps plan test schedules, identifies equipment required for testing and evaluates standard and special devices as needed. Assists in defining changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, and evaluates new testing requirements. Reviews incoming test requests and aids in assessing current abilities verses future requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of test instrumentation/transducers (pressure, force, acceleration, position, temperature, etc)
• Basic understanding of a PID control system
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (WORD, ACCESS and EXCEL)
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with others in a team to accomplish a common goal
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite

Preferred Qualifications:

• Instrumentation knowledge/experience to include operation theory and selection
• Instrumentation calibration knowledge (demonstrate theory knowledge)
• Demonstrate ability to complete projects on time with minimal oversight
• Data Acquisition System operation experience
• General programming experience/skills
• EXCEL macro, ACCESS MatLab/LabView Database and VBA programming experience/programming skills
• Demonstrate a broad approach to problem solving (multidisciplinary)

Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00
