The Director, Employee Accommodation Support Center provides strategic leadership for a newly established center dedicated to advancing workplace accessibility, inclusion, and belonging. You will oversee the university's reasonable accommodation processes and lead the development of people-centered strategies that enhance the employee experience ensuring full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), and all applicable state and federal regulations. You will report to the Assistant Vice President of Health and Wellness Benefits. Serving as the People Team's subject matter expert on ADA and workplace accommodations, the Director shapes policy, provides expert consultation, and builds organizational capability through education, resources, and proactive support. This role leads a small team and is instrumental in championing a culture that puts people first by removing barriers, fostering equity, and creating an environment where all employees can fully contribute and thrive. Develop, implement, and maintain accessibility policies and procedures that comply with federal and state laws, like the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 504 Pregnancy Worker's Fairness Act (PWFA), and other relevant state and federal laws for employees at SNHU and is focused around supporting an inclusive work culture. Lead a team that serves as the primary resource for employees looking for information about disability-related accommodations and services.
