The purpose of this position is to continue market development, acquire new clients, maintain existing clients, and address their concerns regarding products, service, and pricing.
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
• University degree, college diploma, or relevant sales experience. • Sales-related certification is an asset. • Must be bilingual (English/French). • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in building materials. • Must be a good communicator. • Must possess strong sales skills and the ability to establish lasting client relationships. • A valid “Class 5” driver’s license and ability to travel as needed, including overnight trips. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as work is typically performed in an office. Some work may take place in operational units; in such cases, PPE (such as safety glasses or ear protection) must be worn. There are opportunities for outside work; it may be necessary to use stairs and elevators. The position involves frequent travel (approximately 80%) by car.
