Job Opportunity In West Kowloon Cultural District

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realize the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture, and entertainment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a frontline operation team and acting as Duty Manager during day-to-day operation, including emergency handling;
  • Delivering guest experience of the highest standard and handling venue operations with frontline team members;
  • Communicating and managing relationships with hirers to support their shows and events logistics planning and execution;
  • Coordinating with Artistic, Technical and Productions and other teams of Performing Arts Division as well as across other departments for venue operation logistics, event planning, and execution;
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of customer experience strategy;
  • Assisting in the preparation of operation procedures and guidelines;
  • Managing and ensuring staff efficiency of frontline operation team including the casual labor pool; and
  • Performing any duties from time to time as reasonably as assigned by the Authority.

You should:

  • Possess a recognized university degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Performing Arts or equivalent;
  • Have 5 years of relevant experience, of which at least 3 years in a supervisory position;
  • Have good knowledge of front-of-house operation;
  • Possess a customer service mentality;
  • Be required to work in both outdoor and indoor environment and on shift according to the duty roster assigned including weekends and public holidays; and
  • Be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
