The Senior Manager, Product Lead for Middle East, will own the digital product design & solutioning, product-market fit, conception of user journey, localization and integration efforts across Middle East to launch, operate and monitor new digital financial services beyond remittances, such as wallet ecosystem & cards. The role will be responsible for aligning regional initiatives with our global strategy and delivering exceptional customer experiences. With a key focus on advancing our omnichannel and wallet ecosystem & cards offerings across key markets, the candidate will be the subject matter expert for product management, product-market fit, knowledge of local payment/ecosystem partners, and UI/UX topics, all related to new digital financial services beyond remittances.

The role will guide product development & delivery based on local insights, business requirements and understanding of customers' needs within global guidelines. The position also ensures the optimal conception and specification of user experience designs while paying attention to business requirements, technical feasibility and data localization specific to geographies.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Co-Build & maintain effective product strategy and roadmap for digital financial services
  • Adopting and following Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) best practices
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders alongside the full product development lifecycle
  • Drive digital financial services product brainstorming & design based on business strategy, regional requirements and global guidelines
  • Generate new product ideas that are focused on driving revenue, acquiring new customers, enhancing the customer experience
  • Design of user journeys based on design principles, market data and benchmarking
  • Development and ownership of Business Requirements Document (BRD) and Product Requirements Document (PRD) for the related digital financial services
  • Ensure that the product design & development comply with relevant legal, compliance and data localization requirements
  • Author EPICS, features, user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborate with the Engineering teams to ensure product features are delivered according to requirements & specifications
  • Understanding of partner/application interfaces and APIs that enable digital financial services
  • Identifying key defects through thorough testing of mobile and web customer platforms to be solved to improve customer experience and comply with local regulations
  • Running product operational forums and liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • Monitoring product performance based on a range of business and product KPIs
  • Provide ongoing analysis on product effectiveness using a data driven approach
  • Understand and track competitor activities across digital financial services
  • Navigate complex and fast-moving Fintech technology landscape to harness technology opportunities

Role Requirements:

  • Ideally led a Digital Wallet with Financial Services in UAE or KSA across design, build, launch and operate phases
  • Must have at least 8 years' experience working with domestic or international payments companies. Experience can be gained through banks / financial services, specialist payment companies, or at domestic or international schemes.
  • Must have at least 8 years' experience in Product management experience of building and operating Digital financial services such as wallets, digital payments, e-marketplaces, card management and cross border transfers/payments.
  • Preferred to have an advanced degree in Product Management/Business/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Passionate about building great digital products and customer experiences, maximizing a product's business outcomes
  • Get things done attitude; Self-motivated with the ability to "roll-up sleeves" and prioritize critical deadlines
  • Detailed understanding of product methodologies, documentation and processes for digital products with a systematic/analytical mindset.
  • Strong business writing, numerical analysis and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders/teams in different countries with different cultural backgrounds
