Loan Operations Specialist

The Loan Administration Specialist is responsible for various disbursement department duties relating to administration of loan collateral, accurately posting payments, processing loan releases, and performing timely reconciliation of general ledger and bank accounts. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while supporting smooth loan operations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with audits, maintaining accurate records and performing other duties as assigned to support the loan disbursement department. Strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring the disbursement department payments general email box for payoff demands, payments and other inquiries.
• Preparing partial payoff demands for title upon request.
• Processing all incoming payments received via the payments general email box.
• Preparing all partial releases of paid collateral.
• Assisting with loan draw callbacks.
• Assisting Construction Disbursement team members with scanning of draw packages.
• Processing all inspection invoices via accounts payable system.
• Responsible for emailing selective borrower interest statements monthly.
• Preparing and reconciling inspection general ledger, disbursement department incoming wire G/L and CRE bancontrol accounts monthly.
• Performing other duties and participating in special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma required.
• Entry level knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Proficient in multi-tasking in a team oriented environment and focused on the highest standards of client service.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
