Loan Operations Administrator II

The position of Loan Administrator II (Boarding) is responsible for boarding all loans (commercial, commercial real estate, syndications, participations, etc.) onto the bank's core systems. The Loan Administrator II (Boarding) will work closely with Loan Boarding Quality Control, the Post Closing Team and with bank personnel to ensure loans comply with state and federal laws, regulations, and bank lending policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for boarding new loans, loan renewals, and loan modifications, with a variety of structures, collateral, rates and terms onto the bank's core system, ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Responsible for processing file maintenance on the bank's core system.
  • Responsible for processing monetary transactions (electronic or paper) in accordance with provided disbursement instructions, ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Complete and submit boarded loan packages, completed monetary transactions, and file maintenance for callback review within department Service Level Standards.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the bank's core system and processes; provide training, technical support and assistance to the Loan Boarding team and others

Requirements include:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Loan Administration, Lending and/or Deposit Sales, or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Knowledge of one or more loan types.
  • Proficient in multi-tasking in a team oriented environment and focused on the highest standards of client service.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
