Staff Engineer - Fullstack
Our Digital Product team, self-branded the Monkeys, is growing! We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer (Vue/Laravel/Typescript) to join the team working on our customer facing platforms (Website & CMS) to help us build cutting edge Full Stack solutions that delight customers.
You'll work across the stack with your team, on anything from our APIs to web interfaces to internal tools. You'll be contributing to the design of new features, the architecture, and the performance of our website.
What you'll do:
- Support the PMs, EM and the team and in developing front-end and backend solutions (end user-facing and administrative user-facing) according to UX/UI designs, guaranteeing quality and scalability
- Help the team identify front-end and back-end architectural solutions based on business logic and requirements, managing the Technical Complexity
- Help us maximize the user experience and quality of our product (you'll work on our coolest website and CMS)
- Communicate and Collaborate with the Leadership Team, leveraging your Network to maximize the team Impact
What you'll bring to the table:
- You have proven experience in autonomously managing and delivering projects, stakeholders and other team members to guarantee cooperation, communication and alignment.
- You are fully autonomous in managing project requirements, implementation and delivery of backend/frontend solutions
- You have an outcome and product driven mindset in your solution
- You have experience in tech leadership, know when to delegate, when to manage, and when to lead
- You have experience in delivery management and Agile practices
- You have experience in working with Product and Design on finding optimal solutions to business requirements
- You are already familiar and advocate in using AI in your development workflow with AI IDEs (Cursor/Copilot) and CLIs (Claude Code CLI or Gemini CLI)
Technological Experience with:
- SEO and UI/UX on mobile and desktop applications
- Vue / Nuxt (or React) and Typescript
- PHP & Laravel
- RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- unit and integration tests
- SQL Postgres/Bigquery (or MySQL databases)
- Git, Github, Github Actions (or alternatives)
- Docker and managing containers in development environment
Bonus points for having:
- Knowledge of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles
- Knowledge of Vitest/Jest/Mocha
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Message distribution systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with A/B tests and related tooling (Growthbook etc.)
- Knowledge of DDD and domain principles
- Knowledge of NestJS
