Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.

In this role, you will:

Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Python, Prompt engineering, Machine learning
4+ Years of experience in Production / Application support teams (including troubleshooting application issues / installations / deployments / configurations)
2+ Years of experience in Windows or Linux Administration
Change/problem/incident management experience
For Windows environments – experience in IIS, SQL Server Administration, Windows administration, Windows PowerShell scripting
For Linux environments - experience in Unix Scripting
Experience with scheduling tools such as Autosys
Experience with app or web servers such as Apache, Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphere, JBOSS (and/or combination of these)
Experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, NoSQL (and/or combination of these)
DevOps tools/experience - Github, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible
Experience with SRE, Application, System and Database monitoring tools such as ITRS, AppDynamics, Splunk, Netcool, Elk and Basemon
SSL Certificate management experience
Knowledge of ticket tracking tools such as ServiceNow, Jira
Experience with Agile/Kanban methodologies

Job Expectations:

Having knowledge on monitoring tools like ITRS, AppDynamics, SPLUNK, Grafana, Service Now Autosys/Control-M, AiOps - (Mandatorily should have used it, Preferable if candidate has worked on its setup) Netcool uDeploy GitHub JIRA/Confluence
History of implementation of efficiencies, resiliencies, automations and transformations
He/She must have knowledge on AI tools like chatgpt, prompt engineering, Co-pilot
AI, Machine Learning, Prompt engineering are required
