Senior Systems Operations Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer. In this role, you will:

1. Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
2. Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
3. Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
4. Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
5. Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
6. Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Manage, operate, and optimize large-scale Redis clusters across production and non-production environments.
• Monitor Redis performance, latency, memory usage, and replication health using observability tools.
• Troubleshoot incidents related to Redis availability, persistence, clustering, and failover mechanisms.
• Implement backups, recovery procedures, and data-integrity safeguards for Redis workloads.
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to design efficient caching and data-storage solutions.
• Perform capacity planning, scaling, and performance tuning to support application growth.
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripts and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Ensure Redis deployments follow security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Drive upgrades, patching, and migration activities with minimal service disruption.
• Produce documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials for Redis operations.
