Senior Software Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer. Senior Java Engineer with hands on Database Development, Data Engineering skills, GCP knowledge, good Design and good interpersonal skills.

In This Role, You Will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Facilitate communications within the team and facilitate knowledge sharing amongst the team and other personnel.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, System Architects, Analysts and any other stakeholders as needed
• Define & Execute the test strategy across the consumer banking applications

Additional Required Qualification:

• Core skills – Experience is Database technologies including SQL, GCP Big Query, ETL tools like SSIS, Cloud Data Flow, Storage solutions like GCS buckets, streaming services like Kafka and Cloud Pub sub, strong hands on experience with Python
• Experience with GenAI tools, including an in-depth exploration of various LLM models, efficient utilization techniques
• Knowledge in agent-based' approach.
• Strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of Design Patterns
• Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
• Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably in design/development of customer facing large enterprise applications)
• Experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applications
• Experience with Database Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
• Hands on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology using preferably JIRA tool.
• Unit Testing (JUnit preferred)/ TDD - Scripting & Automated Testing, Continuous Integration and deployment (Jenkins)
• Good business communication skills in English

• Certification in Google/Azure Cloud, Google Data engineering, Cloud Digital leader,
• Skills and Certifications:
• Hands-on software architecture, design and development experience
• Experience in SQl, SSIS, GCP, Big Query, Data Flow, Pub Sub, Vertex AI
• Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
• Certification in GCP as Data engineer.
• Hands on Experience using Co-pilot.
• Work experience with SVN, Maven, GIT, Gradle, AppDynamics, Splunk etc. DevOps tools.
