Senior Business Relationship Support Specialist

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Relationship Support Specialist to join the CIB Middle Office team, which supports the Fund Finance line of business within Corporate and Investment Banking Operations.

The Senior Business Specialist will support the credit deal team that is responsible for initiation and accuracy of loan documentation tasks for pre-closing/closing tasks by coordinating loan booking and closing activities, partner to resolve related issues, and ensure timely delivery to clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide credit deal team support responsible for proper initiation and accuracy of loan documentation and pre-closing/closing tasks for direct and operating exposure
  • Coordinate loan booking and closing activities to ensure consistent, timely and accurate credit delivery to our clients
  • Develop expertise in bank policies, procedures, and compliance requirements and ensure adherence
  • Book all operating exposure onto the applicable systems of record
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate new and existing data in the systems of record
  • Partner with managers to resolve issues and provide status updates on implementations
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Verify compliance and report identified issues for resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of credit underwriting experience and related customer due diligence processes and credit documents
  • Experience utilizing the nCino system
  • Knowledge of booking and closing processes and credit systems such as LoanIQ, Saleforce and STARS
  • Experience applying compliance and regulatory requirements, including Reg U, Reg W, Volker, QFC, CRR, Flood
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work a hybrid in-office schedule
  • Willingness to work on-site at stated location
