Operations Accounting Support Analyst
Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Accounting Support Analyst for a vacancy in our Toronto office.
In this role, you will:
- Perform moderately complex branch bank account reconciliations.
- Conduct investigations to identify unreconciled items in cash accounts and assist with timely resolution.
- Support review of the Canadian regulator via third party vendor and adhere to all related compliance activities.
- Review daily branch funding requirements; monitor bank account balances for variances, resolve issues, and escalate as needed.
- Assist audit and testing teams by providing walkthroughs, documentation, and samples as needed.
- Provide daily support in reviewing Treasury Management account opening requests and assist with related investigations.
- Ensure all related record-keeping is maintained in accordance with operational requirements.
- Conduct month-end validation reviews on records as prescribed by operational control requirements.
- Perform additional quarterly and annual activities as required to support operational readiness.
- Assist with risk and control activities related to the tasks performed.
- Engage proactively in project initiatives by sharing support and expertise to drive progress when required.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of back-office reconciliation/Investigations, Treasury Management, SWIFT payments.
- Familiarity with requirements for regulators requirements regarding Anti Money Laundering.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey thoughts concisely and clearly to diverse audiences, ensuring multiple stakeholders can quickly grasp complex information.
- Effectively navigates time-sensitive challenges by prioritizing critical tasks, analyzing complex issues, and delivering timely, strategic recommendations that drive resolution and support business objectives.
- Demonstrates agility in managing competing priorities while offering well-informed solutions to investigative findings.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
Job Expectations:

Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $114,000.00
