Institutional Investment Operations Specialist – APAC Fixed Income Sales Support

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Specialist – APAC Fixed Income Sales Support. In this role, you will:

• Participate in lifecycle support tasks for Fixed Income institutional trade initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Actively work and ensure Fixed Income CTM trade matching and confirmations are actioned and confirmed timely and to manage the clients for all their queries
• Actively handling queries from counterparts, responding to client service requests and sending trade confirmations to clients
• Actively monitor the accuracy Fixed Income trade details and settlements instruction are booked in systems
• Assist leadership in bringing individual or teams together to resolve complex issues
• Assist in client account onboarding, setups, input and monitoring of cash payments, customer service, project support, funding operations, custodial operations, securities settlement services, structured loan operations, general ledger reconciliation, as well as work to resolve confirmation and ISDA related issue
• Provide subject matter expertise on projects along with internal and industry related initiatives
• Review and analyze functional operational tasks that require research, evaluation, and exercise independent judgment to guide the deliverable
• Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise on functions, projects, internal and industry related initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Institutional Investment Operations, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Institutional Investment Operations experience handling Fixed Income product and FI CTM Confirmations/Matching.
• Knowledge of DTCC Omgeo CTM, Bloomberg and Reuters are encouraged
• Extensive understanding and working knowledge Fixed Income Product and entire lifecycle events
• Solid analytical skills.
• Experience of working with project and technology stakeholders to deliver change. Solid communication and organizational skills – to work with local and remote Operations, Technology and Compliance stakeholders.
• Proficient with AI tools are encouraged along with Microsoft Excel (VBA preferred) and Alteryx
