HR Service Delivery Manager For Us Background Screening

Wells Fargo India & Philippines is a critical component of Wells Fargo's strategy to leverage distinct advantages in doing business in a global environment. Wells Fargo is seeking an HR Service Delivery Manager for US Background Screening to be part of our HR Global Delivery Team. In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop team of individual contributor roles with low to moderate complexity and risk in functional area, and engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with HR service delivery; products and processes may be related to, but not limited to, one or more HR functional areas such as: Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, pay, benefits, incentive plan administration, HRIS and records management, leave of absence, employee and labor relations, HR compliance
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and compliance
  • Supervise timely completion, quality, and compliance in one or more complex operation areas
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectives
  • Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
  • Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues, and multiple level managers; and interact directly with internal customers
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for aligned department or business group
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of HR Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a graduate of a bachelor's degree in any discipline or higher
  • Candidate must have 4+ years of relevant experience in background screening operations in a leadership capacity, including knowledge of U.S. compliance regulations related to background screening
  • Must have proven experience managing teams of 10+ employees at varying competency levels
  • Must have strong vendor management and SLA governance experience
  • Must have excellent English communication, analytical ability, proficiency in MS Office and HRIS tools (Workday preferred)
  • Familiarity with global background screening providers and global screening practices are highly preferred
  • Willing to work on night shift (8am-5pm ET) at Taguig City

Job Expectations:

  • Oversee daily operations of the international background screening team, ensuring SLA and compliance targets are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships and participate in quarterly business reviews.
  • Implement and monitor FCRA-compliant processes for adverse action notices and privacy standards.
  • Develop team capability through coaching, training, and performance management for staff at multiple competency levels.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and automation projects in collaboration with HR Technology.
  • Prepare and present operational metrics and risk mitigation reports to senior leadership.
