Wells Fargo is seeking a visionary GenAI Digital Product Management Director (Executive Director) to lead the development of enterprise-wide AI capabilities within the Chief Operating Office. This strategic role will shape and execute the roadmap for GenAI and Agentic AI initiatives, driving innovation in user experience and operational efficiency. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions that empower employees, enhance decision-making, and streamline processes across the organization.
In this role, you will:
Drive GenAI product development and program delivery across the Chief Operating Office, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging technologies.
Lead the design and implementation of Agentic AI solutions, fostering intelligent automation and decision-making capabilities.
Manage and mentor teams of digital professionals, cultivating a high-performance culture and supporting career growth.
Develop and execute digital strategies tailored to specific business lines or functional areas.
Influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders, peers, and senior leaders to ensure alignment and support for digital initiatives.
Engage directly with external customers to understand needs and deliver impactful solutions.
Identify and recommend cross-functional programs and initiatives with potential enterprise-wide impact.
Determine strategic direction and actions to meet deliverables with moderate to high risk, ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for moderately complex functions, ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Oversee allocation of people and financial resources, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
Champion a culture of innovation and talent development, aligning team capabilities with evolving business needs and digital transformation goals.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of digital product management or leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
4+ years of management or leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
8+ years experience in Product Management, including 4+ years in AI/ML and GenAI.
Experience leading GenAI and Agentic AI product development in Fintech or financial institutions.
Strong knowledge of LLMs, vector databases, orchestration tools (e.g., LangChain, Semantic Kernel), and cloud-native architectures.
Proficient with GCP, Azure, AWS (including Vertex AI and ADK Framework).
Skilled in AI/ML lifecycle and building compliant, scalable frameworks.
Governance & Risk:
Familiar with AI governance and model risk management.
Understanding of financial services operations, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Strategic Leadership:
Proven success in AI product strategy and innovation at enterprise scale.
Ability to communicate AI value to executive leadership.
Experience managing product roadmaps and evaluating AI vendors.
Collaboration & Influence:
Strong leadership and change management in matrixed environments.
Effective cross-functional collaboration to deliver secure, scalable AI solutions.
Job Expectations:
Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in the listed location (hybrid schedule).

Pay Range: $185,000.00 - $300,000.00
